What are ions and salts are in a battery "lithium-ion?
I know how a galvanic cell, and be that lithium is a metal Group 1 with the oxidation state of 0 or 1. This does not tell me what the ions and salts are in a battery "Lithium Ion" notwithstanding. (more precisely: mobile phone battery) I found my answer. None of you were close. It appears that the lithium ions form a complex with other, conventional ion batteries has increased to avoid a "memory" or the display of "downloading" when Not used.
The anode made of carbon, the cathode is a metal oxide and the electrolyte is a lithium salt in an organic solvent.
